Bad-Daraich House is situated in the upper part of Tobermory, next to the golf course, set in 2.5 acres of garden, and its elevated position gives it spectacular views along the sound of Mull and the hills of Morven It is within ten minutes walking distance of Main Street, with its shops, post office, bank, hotels and restaurants. A self catering holiday at Bad-Daraich House will give you the best of both worlds in that if is privately situated in peaceful surroundings, yet it is in the thriving and picturesque fishing village of Tobermory. The fully equipped country kitchen is complete with dishwasher, microwave, gas hob and electric oven, toaster, kettle and fridge freezer. It has everything down to cutlery and crockery; but if there is anything else you would like on arrival from cupcake trays to cocktail jugs be sure to ask and we will do our best to have it there for you.
The spacious drawing room has a beautiful bay window that overlooks the lawn and sea. It includes a wood burning stove, which also heats the water, beautiful modern furniture with an antique dresser and a TV and DVD player.
We understand the importance of family meals away from technology and here in the dining room you can host the whole family while enjoying the sea view from the bay window.
The secondary lounge has a variety of books for the readers in the family; WI-FI signal to ensure specific work requirements can be met and another TV to entertain the younger members of the family.
Downstairs Wet Room
A downstairs cloakroom supplements the main bathroom, which has a bath and shower sink for washing wet garments and shoes. Please note that this is primarily for those outdoor adventures.
The laundry room contains a washing machine, iron and ironing table. There is plentiful space to keep wellies and waterproofs and the original house wooden pulleys for drying clothes too.
